WHEW!

WOW! I must say it's been forever since I blogged. I am so mad at myself for not keeping up with this better. I had big plans to print and make a book. BOO! Maybe I can keep it up from here on out...ya right? Right?! HAHA I'll try the best I can..for Kaydens sake!

Well, a lot has happened in the past months. Kayden is growing like a weed and her personality is becoming stronger by the day! Where oh where did my baby go? Lets see a few "BIG" details that have happened in the past months to kind of catch up. Hm, lets see.....

We tried to potty train Kayden and she was really interested in her little potty. If we said "Do you need to go TeeTee" she would run to her toliet and sit on it. After a few days of training, we had this bright idea of maybe thinking if we put her in big girl panties that she'd do better. :-x Ok, yes typing that out it sounds a lot dumber than it did at the time!! We put her in these panties and she held her pee for an hour and 45 mins! We were consumed with it..taking her to the toliet every 15 mins and she just refused to go! Well..an hour and 45 minutes later I heard a scream and Kayden had finally given up holding it and just let it all go. She was traumatized!!! I'm guessing the sudden feel of water running down her leg scared her. Whatever it was she cried for about 15 minutes! That marked the end of potty training for the time being. With school and everything going on right now we just didn't have the time to be consistent with her. So we are still avid buyers of size 4 pampers! :-)

We went to West Virginia to see my parents over spring break. We had a great time, we took Kayden to the Columbus zoo which was so neat! It was a 3 hour drive there, 4 hours of walking through the zoo, and a 3 hour drive back. Needless to say..we were all dog tired by the time we got back to my parents house. Whew, just thinking about it makes me tired! Eric and I left WV on Sunday and Kayden stayed with my parents. We were about to be away from our baby for 10 days..the longest we've gone since she was born! Talk about an emotional day. :[ ..Well the 10 days felt like forever but it was nice to get a break! When Kayden FINALLY got home she looked like a totally different baby. She was so grown up and looked like such a big girl. Although my mother will disagree with this next statement..I can guarantee deep down she knows its true..but Kayden came back SPOILED ROTTEN!!! She tested us left and right with things she had never done! Talk about exhausting. Well about a week later she finally was done pushing the limits and was back to my sweet little baby!! :p HAHA Thanks Mom and Dad! <3

Lets see..what else..Kayden absolutely LOVES to be outside! Which I can't complain its better than her sitting in front of a TV all day. Not to say that she doesn't enjoy doing that..haha she LOVES tv!

I have every intention to keep up with this but I've run out of time today so I'll have to continue this "catch up" next time which will hopefully be in the next few days! Hoooorah! Later Gator.
