Let's try this again! :-P

I have yet again failed at keeping up with our blog! I have said it in each and every blog about how i'm going to "keep up frow now on", BLAH BLAH BLAH! HAHA i'm officially done making that promise to myself but I am going to try and make it part of my weekly routine! 8-)

This Summer came and went in the blink of an eye. Probably because we were booked solid for the entire 2 1/2 months! The summer started off with my college graduation, my entire family came to celebrate which was awesome! We usually only get together like that once a year, usually at Christmas. It's tough having family spread out all across the country! :-( Not long after the graduation shenanigans ended Kayden and I headed to South Padre for a week long girls trip! She absolutely loved the beach and had NO fear of the water (for a mommy that is a scary thing!). We had a good time until about halfway through our visit Kayden got a knot on the back of her leg right underneath her diaper. I thought it was just a mosquito bite since those are so common around the beach. Well, after two days of it getting bigger, harder, and dark black we headed to the emergency room. What a vacation, huh? :-) She was given two painful shots in her legs and an oral antibiotic for a spider bite. It was definately hard for me to see my baby girl in so much pain and not able to fix it or take the pain away. Two weeks after returning from that beach trip Eric and I headed to Puerto Morales, Mexico for a delayed honeymoon. The day we left we decided to check the weather one more time on our iphones since we wouldn't be able to use them once we got to Mexico. Little did we know we were about to get some pretty sad news! :-( Hurricane Alex was scheduled to hit the day we arrived and there was a 60% chance of rain for the entire 5 days!!!! We landed in Mexico trying to be positive and optimistic about the upcoming days. The first night the weather was just unbareable, you couldn't walk anywhere without getting soaked, slippery floors, and cold buildings. We were pretty much stuck in our room the entire night. The next few days were cloudy, windy, and very depressing. Day 3 was about where we began to start pouting, haha. Although, that afternoon the sun poked through the clouds and we found a perfect spot behind some shrubs that blocked the wind and got some rays! In fact, we got FRIED!!! :-) I was never more excited to get burned in my life! The rest of our trip was wonderful and we got to enjoy all that our resort had to offer. Not to mention, Eric and I were Botche(SP?) Ball champions! 8-) After that trip, I had 7 days until Kayden and I left for West Virginia. I stayed in West Virginia for a week and Kayden stayed for 12 days after I left! That left Eric without seeing her for 21 days!!! Two days after I got back from WV, we headed down to San Antonio for Eric's coaching clinic. Talk about a neat and fun place! I really can't wait til Kayden is older and we can take a family vacation there.

Whew, well that sums up all of our "BIG" trips of the summer. I have to admit after all of that traveling I sure am ready to get back into a routine. Today marks Kaydens first day of school (daycare) at Peppermint Fence and my first day at the High School. :-) Dropping her off at school today was bittersweet, knowing that she will learn so much and make new friend was exciting. It was also tough because she is growing up and no parent likes to see their baby get older! Haha, it's a sad reality that we all have to deal with unfortunately. Eric and I went and peeked through her classroom window during lunch and she was doing so well just sitting there eating like a big girl with all those other kids. I could have looked through that window all day!!

The latest news of The Robinsons is...we are expecting our newest addition March 25th. Obviously from all my talk about Kayden "growing up" we are a little torn up about it so we decided it was time to add to our family! We are very excited, anxious, and extremely nervous! All of the emotions any expecting parents experience! :) The only downfall will be that I will be 8-9 months pregnant through my first season as head soccer coach. Ek, my last game is only two weeks before my due date. Haha, hopefully this little guy/girl hangs on until after season! As for the pregnancy, it is already totally different. I have experienced morning sickness that I never imagined was even possible. I did get some medicine prescribed by the doctor so I'm hoping for some relief very soon!!! :) Praying for a healthy baby but crossing my fingers for a baby boy :) We shall see what God has in store for us!

Here's to a new job, Kaydens new school, new friends, Eric a new season, and hopefully another new state championship!

(Also, please excuse any grammatical errors, sentence structure errors, etc. I have never been known for my writing skills!)
